Why are customers being upgraded?
Vodafone have noticed that some customer CTNs on the Gemini billing platform aren’t on a 4G plan, despite having a 4G device. During the week commencing 23rd January 2017, Vodafone are moving them to a 4G price plan at no extra cost.
How are Vodafone letting customers know about the change?
Customers will have received the following text from Vodafone detailing the changes to any of their impacted CTNs:
“Good news. As a long standing customer we are now providing you with Ultrafast 4G at no extra cost. To connect to our 4G network you may need to restart your phone. Terms apply www.vodafone.co.uk/4GforReadyBusiness. Learn more about 4G here www.vodafone.co.uk/4g. 4G not for you? Please dial 191 to remove it”
What if a customer doesn’t want 4G?
If a customer decides that they do not want to migrate to 4G they can opt out by calling 191, as communicated in their text message.
